when i bought my webspace and started designing my site i had planned for it to be a very personal site all about me, my hobbies and my pastimes... one of which is photography and in particular tonyrefail and sourounding areas.. when i realised how many pictures i had i decided that id use my site to show tonyrefail to the world in june 05 i registered the name tonyrefail.org

 we live in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales with a rich and varied history and some of the most visually stunning scenery that Wales has to offer. and all quite literally on our doorsteps

because of my passion for mountain biking i’ve spent a lot of time on the hills & in valleys around tonyrefail and it has shown me the many things that we have here, from stunning views over the channel to england from the top of garth maelog. to the intricate architecture on the ruins of railway bridges hidden in the woodland of pantybrad. using my photography and photographs that have been donated to me I hope to show everyone in tonyrefail what their missing.

this is where you come in, I can only make this web site into the finest photographic resource on tonyrefail with the help of those who call it home.

I need more photographs, although its the older photos that interest me I need new ones as well, so if your going for a walk this summer please take your camera.

if you have any photos. they don’t need to be from a digital camera. if i can borrow your your photos i can scan them and return them the same day

I am also interested in anyone who wants to help in the web site who may want to write something about tonyrefail, especially from the older members of our community and what tonyrefail means to them.
