GARTH MAELWYGgarth maelwyg, also know locally as Smylwyg isnt actually in Tonyrefail, although it starts at the end of Coedely it is classed as Llantrisant. i’ve included it as its so close to Tonyrefail and has formed part of Tonyrefails history.the forestry is one one side of a hill, if you ever go walking up there please check the other side of that hill, theviews down the valley are spectacular, I've included some photos of the views beyond the forestry below.
