Gelli’r haidd farm dates back centuries but the current farmhouse is a new house built in the ninteenth century and was lived in up until the mid 90’s. sadly now the farm house and farm have fallen into disrepair.

These photos where taken on the 13th & 12st June 2005

If you follow the road along Elizabeth street in Thomastown along past the park youll find the lane that runs past Llanili farm upto Gelli’r haidd farm

The area behind the lamp post used to be one of the farms barns, which like the stable block was knocked down a couple of years ago.

If you follow the path behind the remains of the old barns you will eventually come out near Llambadd church

If you continue on this path that runs around the base of the rocks you will come to the entrance to the old pathway that leads to St Peters church, also known as Llanbad church.
