this booklet is a first from tonyrefail.org, and was produced after I received a list of tonyrefail’s listed buildings from a Shawn, a member of our forum. I looked into them a bit more hoping to create something we could use within our history & folklore society, I then contacted Cadw who hold all the listed buildings records and they kindly gave me copies of their records, they where written with a lot of shorthand so I corrected this and then started compiling the booklet, adding an explanation of what listed buildings are and mean and a lot of photos that id taken especially for it.I never planned on doing anything with the information other than making a booklet for myself and friends, but after giving my father a copy who was then asked for eight copies within a few days I realised that producing some and offering them to anyone interested was the only thing I could do.producing these myself isn’t the most cost effective method, and the printing and binding process can be time consuming so sadly although this booklets only 28 pages long I do have to ask for a donation to the website of at least £3 for each copy, this covers the production costs and any little that is left over will be used to help cover the running costs of the website and the work of tonyrefail.org which due to an exhibition i’m hoping to put together this year I expect to top a thousand pounds for the year.if you would like a copy please visit our online shop HERE
