St Davids church was opened in High Street in 1903. its one of the most imposing of all the churches we have seen in Tonyrefail, and one of the largest with seating for around 300 people.St Davids is also one of the most important of the remaining churches in the immediate area. with two other local Churches under is control, St Albans Church in Thomastown and St Barnabas Church in Gilfach Goch.the current vicar at St Davids is the reverend Ruth Moverley who has served the parish since 2004. .
