In 1969 the council widened the road in high street, to do this they had to remove 52 graves from Capel y Ton. these where moved to a communal grave in trane (next to the remembrance gardens) one of those moved was Thomas Morgan the author of the book Hanes Tonyerefail. as part of the move, only four grave stones where moved and Thomas Morgans was one of them and can still be seen there today. tonyrefail.org has now created a new web site to pay tribute to Thomas Morgan and to publish his works online for everyone to share. please visit the website here: http://hanes.tonyrefail.org/
